Terms of Service

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity on your account. You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

Use TypeUp AI as a writing and study aid, and follow your own school, college or university rules on AI-assisted writing. You remain responsible for the work you submit anywhere.

Do not use the service to submit work that is not yours under the rules that apply to you, to break any law, or to attempt to disrupt or overload the service.

TypeUp AI improves phrasing, clarity and readability. It does not guarantee that text will pass any AI detector, achieve a particular AI percentage, or be accepted by any school, college, university or assessment provider.

AI percentage results are estimates. We do not establish authorship and we do not label anyone as cheating.

The Free plan requires no payment details. Plus and Pro are monthly subscriptions billed in GBP. A Day Pass is a single payment for 24 hours of access and never renews automatically.

Allowances are shown before you confirm any payment. When an allowance runs out we tell you what remains, when it resets, and what a paid option would add.

You can cancel a subscription in Subscription Management and keep access until the end of the paid period. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or the platform.
